By enrolling a learner, making payment or using UBIA Online School’s website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Our Services
UBIA Online School provides supplementary live online learning, including Holiday Tuition, the Shadow Teacher Program and examination support.
UBIA supports and strengthens school learning but does not replace the learner’s registered school.
2. Enrolment
A parent or legal guardian must provide accurate information about the learner, including their level, subjects and learning needs.
Enrolment is subject to programme, teacher and class availability.
3. Fees and Payment
Current fees include:
- Application fee: Ksh. 0
- Shadow Teacher group classes: Ksh. 6,000 per term
- Shadow Teacher one-on-one classes: Ksh. 800 per hour
- Holiday Tuition group classes: Ksh. 4,000
- Sibling discount: 10% when enrolling more than one child
Payments should be made through the official payment details displayed on the UBIA website. After payment, the KCB confirmation message must be forwarded to 0742 069 101.
4. Attendance and Participation
Learners should attend classes on time, participate respectfully and complete assigned assessments or academic work.
Missed classes may not automatically qualify for a replacement lesson, refund or fee reduction.
5. Class Schedules
UBIA may adjust class times, teachers or schedules where reasonably necessary. Parents will be informed of significant changes.
Reliable internet access and a suitable device are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
6. Learner Conduct
Learners must treat teachers and other learners respectfully. Bullying, abusive language, disruption, impersonation or misuse of online learning platforms is prohibited.
UBIA may suspend access where conduct affects the safety or learning of others.
7. Recordings and Learning Materials
Lessons, notes, assessments and other UBIA materials are for the enrolled learner’s personal educational use only.
Classes, teachers, learners or learning materials must not be recorded, copied, shared, sold or published without permission.
8. Refunds
Refund or credit requests will be reviewed individually, considering whether classes have started, learning resources have been issued and services have already been provided.
Nothing in these terms limits rights available under applicable Kenyan law.
9. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to the UBIA Privacy Policy. Parents or guardians consent to the collection and use of learner information necessary to provide educational support.
